Connect directly to any Pace Data Logger.  All probes utilize a precision 10k ohm thermistor.
Select Thermistor "B" (B.rvt) scaling for all PT8xx series probes.

PT8xx Series Temperature Probes

Connect up to eight probes to the XR5-SE Data Logger, and up to four probes to the XR440 or XR450 Data Logger. 

Common to all PT8xx series Probes

  • Resolution 0.025°C at 25°C
  • No calibration required
  • Probe cables may be extended using ordinary copper wire.

PT840

PT840 Temperature Probe - Pace Scientific

Miniature high-accuracy temperature sensor has low thermal mass for fast response. Not recommended for continuous immersion in water.

PT820 Ring Terminal Temperature sensor - Pace Scientific

The PT820 is excellent for surface temperature measurement and general temperature measurement applications.

PT860 Temperature Probe - Pace Scientific

Rugged nickel plated brass probe with 10 FT Cable. Suitable for HVAC and general temperature applications.  Excellent for applications subject to moisture due to condensation.  Suitable for repeated freeze/thaw cycles in refrigeration, HVAC and applicance industries.  Not recommended for continuous (long-term) immersion in water.

Extension Cable

Extension cable can be spliced to any of the above probes.  We recommend 24 or 22 gauge two-conductor stranded copper cable for extensions of up to 100 feet (30 meters).  Acceptable splicing methods include wire nuts, crimp connectors, hand twisting and taping, or solder.
